Irving L. Weissman

Irving L. Weissman received the I.-H. Wachter 2007 for his seminal contributions in the fields of lymphocyte differentiation, homing receptors, identification and isolation of hemopoetic stem and progenitor cells, isolation of central nervous stem cells and progenitor cells, normal and neoplastic hematolymphoid development, tumor stem cells, and many achievements in other disciplines. .
